ROBO CHALLENGE Robo an outreach project centered around UC Santa Barbara's ME170A mobile robotics course taught by Professor Paden. Our objective is to provide opportunities to K-12 students to participate in creative aspects of engineering, to gain confidence in their technical ability, and to learn computer programming and mechanism design in the context of robotics. Funding for this project is provided by a UC Faculty Outreach Grant and is currently being invested in stipends for K-12 teacher-lead curriculum development and in course materials at partner schools.
