NATIONAL ENGINEERING WEEK EVENTS by TBP

ENGINEERING FUTURES SEMINARS
By Southern California and Nevada District Director of TBP from UCLA, Scott Eckersall

Tuesday, FEBRUARY 24, 2003, 7pm-9pm Topic:
Basic People Skills
Wednesday, FEBRUARY 25, 2003, 7pm-9pm Topic: Team Chartering

This program offers students an effective and unique approach to improving interpersonal and leadership skills. The Engineering Futures workshop is designed from materials used in Fortune 500 companies to be an interactive training course in personal and leadership skills development, problem solving and teamwork.

Statistics show that only five percent of all engineers have ever taken a management, organization or communications class. These are skills that can give a prospective employee the edge over competing applicants. Students will benefit greatly from attending.

NOTE: Students must sign up by emailing tbp@enginering.ucsb.edu with their name, major, phone, email, and workshop/s attending.

Space is limited to 50 people, so please sign up soon!
