College of Engineering Undergraduate Scholarships

The College of Engineering has a wide range of scholarships available to qualified current College of Engineering undergraduate students. The amount of funds available varies each year, and the individual award amounts range from $350 to $2,500. Scholarships are available from: Boeing Corporation, Chevron Corporation, Albert G. Conrad Memorial, Glen Culler, Christopher Divis Memorial, The Hearst Foundation, Harold J. and Mary E. Miller, Novacoast, Joseph J. Sayovitz, and Yardi Systems.

Eligibility: Applicants must be a current undergraduate student enrolled in the College of Engineering at UCSB in good academic standing. (Computer Science majors in the College of Letters & Science who are in good academic standing ARE eligible for scholarships designated for Computer Science majors.)

Criteria for awards include: major, grade point average, academic achievements, research projects, and in some cases, extracurricular activities.

Application Cycle: The application period has ended for the 2007-2008 school year.

The College of Engineering Scholarship committee reviews the applications and makes decisions during the month of December. Letters will be mailed to all award recipients to their local mailing address beginning on January 4, 2008. Awards are disbursed during the first week of winter quarter.
