Description

The Cooper Lab is the newest ECI lab. It differs from the other ECI computer labs as it is intended to primarily be used for College of Engineering instruction. The lab is equipped with 29 Intel-based computers, a data projector, and an image projector. To schedule time to teach in the lab please use the link on the left. In order to schedule time for a final exam, you must make a separate reservation.

Please note that in order to use the computers in the Cooper Lab that you and your students will need a College of Engineering account. Please see the main ECI page for details about how to get an account if you don't already have one.

Food and drinks are not allowed in the Cooper Lab.

There is a telephone in the lab so if technical assistance relating to the projector, alarm system, etc. is required you may call the ECI office at x3221.

The Cooper Lab is located in the Engineering Science Building (ESB) room 1003.

Requirements

You must give us plenty of advance notification of any software requests requiring installation. Depending on the nature of the request and the availability of staff you may be asked to provide your own departmental IT support staff to assist. We require, at the minimum, a one month notice for software requests and cannot guarantee the availability of such software if the request is made with less notice. Also, the computer systems often undergo changes so please do not make any assumptions about what may or may not be installed.
