The College of Engineering is proud to present our three meeting rooms in the Engineering Sciences Building for your use. These rooms are intended primarily as locations for academic events involving College of Engineering and campus departments and programs. Priority for use of the facilities will be given to COE departments and programs. These rooms are not available for use by nonacademic units and community groups. The reservation of these facilities will be done on a first come first served basis. |
However in the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Dean reserves the right to cancel your room reservation with a minimum of two-days notice. This right will be invoked only in emergency circumstances. We do require that you provide a departmental account number in order to complete your reservation. You will not be charged for the use of the room. We collect this number to bill for repairs if damage is incurred during your event. You will be notified in advance of any charges. If you use these facilities you are responsible for leaving them clean, in original configuration, dark, and securely locked. Thank you. |
REPEATING MEETINGS are scheduled one quarter at a time. Reservations for Fall quarter will be taken starting September 1st, for Winter quarter on December 1st, for Spring on March 15th, and for Summer on June 1st.
ESB 1001
ESB room 1001 is our large conference room facility. This room seats 100 people in rows of movable chairs facing a raised stage. On the stage is a custom podium that compliments the large dry-erase board and the motorized screen. This room has one Internet connection available for presentations. There is also an in-house PA system and a ceiling mounted data projector. When you pick up your key, you may check out an equipment bag containing the remote control, spare batteries and instructions, as well as a net connection cable, a laptop audio cable, a power strip, an extension cord, a VGA cable to connect a laptop to the projector, and Gaffers tape to secure any trailing cables. At this time you may also check out the wireless microphone.
Additional equipment and technical support are not provided. There is no phone line in this room. ESB 1001 has an attached kitchen and three tables available for presentations.
ESB 2001
ESB 2001 is our seminar room. It seats 30 people at tables arranged in rows facing the large dry-erase board and motorized screen at the front of the room. 2001 has one Internet connection available for presentations. This room is equipped with a digital-only audio system. There is no microphone. This system will only amplify laptop and video player sound. When you pick up your key, you may check out an equipment bag containing the remote control for the in-house data projector, spare batteries and instructions. The bag also contains a net connection cable, a laptop audio cable, a power strip extension cord, a VGA cable to connect a lap top to the projector, and Gaffers tape to secure any trailing cables.
Additional equipment and technical support are not provided. There is no phone line in this room. This facility has an attached kitchenette available for your use.
ESB 2003
ESB 2003, is the Mark & Susan Aas Bertelsen Conference Room. This room has a central conference table which seats 14 people and 12 additional chairs around the perimeter of the room for a total of 26 seats. There is a large dry-erase board and a pull down screen available for your use. This room has one Internet connection available for presentations. When you pick up your key, you may check out an equipment bag containing the remote control for the in-house data projector, spare batteries and instructions. The bag also contains a net connection cable, a laptop audio cable, a power strip extension cord, a VGA cable to connect a laptop to the projector, and Gaffers tape to secure any trailing cables.
Additional equipment and technical support are not provided. There is no phone line in this room. Reservations for this room include access to the attached patio deck.
