Microfluidic networks for biomaterial studies
In collaboration with Prof. Cyrus Safinya (Materials and Physics) and Prof. Deborah Fygenson (Physics)
         
  Current research includes microchannel processing, 3-D multi-physics simulation, liquid crystal (8-CB) and actin confinement in single crystal silicon microfluidic channels. This work is done in cooperation with Nathan Bouxsein of Prof. Cyrus Safinya’s group (Materials Department). Further research includes microtubule self-assembly and dis-assembly analysis, which is performed in collaboration with Prof. Deborah Fygenson’s group in the Physics department.
