Day Three
Picture 12: Occasionally we met a line of mules carrying people
that didn’t want to hike down to the river. Supposedly, it was very
uncomfortable to ride those mules.
Picture 13: It’s natural to think twice before you attempt
switch-backs like this.
Picture 14: This picture is from the place where, for the
first time on the way down, we spotted the Colorado river.
Picture 15: I'm looking forward to swim in the river.
But the river is still far away.
Picture 16: This is an amazing view of the river! We’re almost
right above it, but hundreds of feet up.
Picture 17: We are finally at the Colorado river. More precisely,
we are on one of the bridges stretching over the river.
