Inventors of ID-Authentification Software Win New Venture Competition

On May 29, Allthenticate, a team made up of students from the UC Santa Barbara departments of Computer Sciencew, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Financial Mathematics and Statistics, and Psychology and Brain Science took home the grand prize, a check for $10,000, for winning the Technology Management Program's 2019 New Venture Competition. They earned another $2,500 for winning the People's Choice award. Authenticate bested five other finalists, each of which earned at least $2,500 for making it to the finals of the competition, which came at the end of nine months of preparation.
