Research
Electronic and Photonic Materials
Mazur's research focuses on mesoscopic superconductivity and quantum devices built from semiconductor–superconductor hybrids and quantum dots. He develops fabrication methods and low-temperature transport techniques to engineer and probe proximity effects across superconductor–semiconductor interfaces in mesoscopic devices. His overarching aim is to establish controllable building blocks for novel, protected qubits and to create a platform for realizing new states of matter in artificial quantum systems.
