Research
The Hanein Lab is exploring the complexities of the macromolecular machines that drive our biological processes—these include our immune responses, sensory perceptions, healing mechanisms, and even our experiences of maturation, and aging. We leverage an advanced array of state-of-the-art cryogenic light and electron microscopes, which enable us to obtain a quantitative representation of life at the atomic scale while experiencing mechanical alterations in complex 3D environment.
